the IN OUT Festival 2009, which is to be held from 16th to 17th October
2009
in CSW Łaźnia in Gdańsk.

REGULATIONS OF IN OUT Festival 2009
16-17 October 2009

The Organizer Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej ‘Łaźnia’ ( CSW Łaźnia) in
Gdańsk,
80-767 Gdańsk ul. Jaskółcza 1,
hereby announces the all-Poland open competition as part of the IN OUT
Festival 2009.
Rules of the competition:

1. The competition consists of two stages. Both professionals and students
of art faculties creating their works on the basis of motion picture,
hereinafter referred to as ‘films’, are invited to take part.

2. Each participant may put forward up to three films.

3. Prizes and distinctions in the competition are as follows:

1st prize: PLN 2 000.00

2nd prize: PLN 1 000.00

distinction: PLN 500.00

audience award: PLN 500.

The Organizer reserves the right to divide prizes differently or not to
grant them at all. Prizes and distinctions shall be paid not later than
within 30 days from the date of public presentation of films at the 2nd
stage of the competition. Prizes and distinctions shall be subject to
taxation on general terms and conditions: the tax shall be collected and
paid by the organizer.

4. To each film put forward for the competition there shall be attached an
application form, filled in legibly by the person registering the film for
the competition, a short biography of the author(-s) (up to 10 sentences)
as
well as a film shot or graphics in the JPG format. Where the character of
the film requires an additional description or suitable technical
information, this shall be also attached to the film.

5. In the competition one can register a film fulfilling the criteria
mentioned below:

• rendition – by any technique; recorded on a DVD in the AVI or MPG
format

• required form of presentation: projection, 1-channel video,

• duration from 3 to 15 minutes.

• each DVD shall bear an emblem

• opening credits shall contain the title of the work, but no data
concerning its author.

• the parcel shall also contain a sealed envelope, described with an
emblem,
containing the application form

6. The form of the film should reflect its subject.

7. Films to be shown at the 2nd stage of the competition will be selected
by
the competition jury, appointed by the Organizer. The authors of films
qualified for the 2nd stage of the competition shall be individually
notified of the selection results.

8. The results of the 2nd stage of the competition shall be settled by the
3-person jury on the last day of presentation of films.

9. By registering a film in the competition, the author simultaneously
consents for the free presentation of his work during the IN OUT Festival
2009 in the registered office of Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej ‘Łaźnia’
in
Gdańsk as well as during other presentations promoting the statutory
activity of CSW Łaźnia.

10. The competition films shall be sent by 3 August 2009 and the
competition
shall be settled on 17 October 2009.

11. The Organizer does not return review copies of films or materials
attached thereto. At the request of authors, review copies may be returned
to them at their expense.

12. The Organizer shall not be liable for the loss of or damage to films
during transport.

13. Films registered for the competition may be used in television
programmes and digital publications related to the IN OUT Festival 2009.
The
films shall be archived, so that they can be non-commercially made
available
for the purpose of promotion, education and research. It is also admissible
to record the films on a common DVD carrier and put them in circulation,
non-commercially, in order to promote programme actions of the Organizer.

14. Works bearing an emblem shall be delivered, together with an
application
form, to the Organizer by the final and absolute deadline falling on 3
August 2008 at 15.00 hours (the date of receipt counts) to the following

15. Films sent without the filled application form and/or emblem and
failing
to meet the technical requirements shall be rejected due to formal reasons.
Information concerning the author shall not be available for Jury members,
who shall receive all sent works with an emblem.

16. Works with the data of the Author recorded on the carrier shall be
rejected.

17. Sending of a film for competition together with an application form
shall be tantamount to the acceptance of the regulations of the IN OUT
Festival 2009 and the consent for the presentation of the work during the
festival.

The person registering the work for the competition declares that he is the
owner of proprietary copyrights related to the administration of the work
and releases organizers from any and all claims of third parties in
connection with the said work. Simultaneously, he consents for the work to
be used in television programmes and digital publications related to the IN
OUT Festival 2009 as well as archived in order to be made non-commercially
available for the purpose of promotion, education and research. He also
consents for the work to be recorded on a common carrier and to be
non-commercially made available for the purpose of promoting CSW Łaźnia,
IN
OUT Festival 2009 and meetings of PARAKINO.

Personal data shall not be processed for other purposes than those
specified
in the application form. The processing of all data shall be conducted in
compliance with this confidentiality declaration and applicable law in
force.

Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej Łaźnia ogłasza Konkurs na najlepszy film w
ramach III edycji Festiwalu IN OUT 2009, który odbędzie się w dniach
16-17
października 2009 roku w CSW Łaźnia w Gdańsku.
Patronat na projektem objął Marszałek Województwa Pomorskiego Jan

Organizator Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej „Łaźnia” ( CSW Łaźnia) w
Gdańsku,
80-767 Gdańsk ul. Jaskółcza 1,
ogłasza ogólnopolski konkurs otwarty w ramach III Festiwalu IN OUT 2009.
Zasady konkursu:

1. Konkurs jest dwuetapowy. Mogą w nim wziąć udział profesjonaliści
oraz
studenci uczelni artystycznych, tworzący prace w oparciu o obraz ruchomy;
zwane dalej „filmami”.

2. Każdy uczestnik może zgłosić do konkursu do trzech filmów.

3. Nagrody i wyróżnienia w konkursie wynoszą:

I nagroda: 2 000,00 zł

II nagroda: 1 000,00 zł

wyróżnienie: 500,00 zł

nagroda publiczności: 500 zł.

Organizator zastrzega sobie prawo do innego podziału nagród, jak również
do
ich nieprzyznania.

Nagrody i wyróżnienie zostaną wypłacone nie później niż w ciągu 30
dni od
daty publicznej prezentacji filmów w II etapie konkursu. Kwoty nagród i
wyróżnienia podlegają opodatkowaniu na ogólnych zasadach; podatek
zostanie
pobrany i odprowadzony przez organizatora.

4. Każdemu zgłoszonemu do konkursu filmowi powinna towarzyszyć czytelnie
wypełniona przez zgłaszającego karta zgłoszenia, krótki biogram autora
lub
autorów (do 10 zdań) oraz zdjęcie kadru lub grafika w formacie JPG.
Jeśli
specyfika filmu tego wymaga, zgłoszeniu powinien towarzyszyć dodatkowy
opis
lub odpowiednie informacje techniczne.

5. Do konkursu można zgłosić film spełniający poniższe kryteria:

• realizacja – dowolną techniką oraz zapis na płycie DVD w formacie AVI
lub
MPG

• wymagana forma prezentacji: projekcja, 1-kanałowe wideo,

• czas trwania od 3 do 15 minut.

• każda płyta DVD powinna być opisana godłem

• czołówka filmu powinna zawierać tytuł pracy, ale nie powinna
zawierać
żadnych danych o autorze.

• przesyłka powinna zawierać również zaklejoną i opisaną godłem
kopertę z
wypełnionym formularzem zgłoszeniowym

6. Forma filmu powinna odzwierciedlać jego tematykę.

7. Do II etapu konkursu filmy zostaną wybrane przez komisję konkursową,
powołaną przez Organizatora. Autorzy filmów zakwalifikowanych do II
etapu
konkursu zostaną indywidualnie powiadomieni o wynikach wyboru.

8. O wynikach II etapu konkursu zadecyduje 3 osobowe jury w ostatnim dniu
prezentacji filmów.

9. Autor, zgłaszając film do udziału w konkursie, wyraża jednocześnie
zgodę
na bezpłatny pokaz jego pracy podczas III Festiwalu IN OUT 2009 w
siedzibie
Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej „Łaźnia” w Gdańsku oraz podczas innych
prezentacji promujących działalność statutową CSW Łąźnia.

10. Termin nadsyłania filmów na konkurs upływa 03.08.2009 r., a
rozstrzygnięcie konkursu nastąpi do dnia 17.10.2009

11. Organizator nie zwraca kopii przeglądowych filmów i załączonych do
nich
materiałów informacyjnych. Na życzenie kopie pokazowe zostaną odesłane
do
autorów filmów na ich koszt.

12. Organizator nie ponosi odpowiedzialności za zaginięcie lub
uszkodzenie
filmów podczas transportu.

13. Filmy zgłoszone do konkursu mogą zostać wykorzystane w związanych z
Festiwalem IN OUT 2009 audycjach telewizyjnych i publikacjach cyfrowych.
Filmy zostaną zarchiwizowane dla potrzeb niekomercyjnego udostępniania w
celach promocyjnych, edukacyjnych i badawczych. Dopuszcza się także
zamieszczanie ich na wspólnym nośniku DVD i niekomercyjne wprowadzenie do
obiegu w celu promocji działań programowych Organizatora.

14. Prace opatrzone godłem wraz z załączonym formularzem zgłoszeniowym
należy dostarczyć do Organizatora w nieprzekraczalnym terminie do
03.08.2009
r., do godziny 15.00 (liczy się data wpływu) na adres:

15. Filmy przesłane bez wypełnionego formularza zgłoszeniowego i/lub
godła
oraz nie spełniające wymagań technicznych zostaną odrzucone z przyczyn
formalnych. Informacje o Autorze nie będą dostępne dla członków Jury,
którzy
otrzymają zestaw nadesłanych prac opatrzonych godłem.

16.Prace z danymi o Autorze zawartymi na nośniku zostaną odrzucone

17.Nadesłanie filmu do konkursu wraz z wypełnioną kartą zgłoszenia
oznacza
akceptację regulaminu III Festiwalu IN OUT 2009 i zgodę na prezentację
pracy
w trakcie wydarzeń festiwalu.
